Looking for a digital camera for the kids or to use in a situation where you wouldn’t dare put your $1000 workhorse Digital SLR in danger? The folks over at Elephant Staircase may have a solution. They’ve come up with a way of modding a cheapo disposable digital camera into something that can be reused again and again. The key ingredient? The docking cradle from a Palm 3, strangely enough. Pretty cool stuff, and the results are respectable.
