100% Authentic Tilt-Shift Miniatures

My article on tilt-shift photography from last year continues to be Cheapshooter’s most popular article, so I figured it might be nice to revisit the subject. While all the photos from last year’s article were cool, some of them lacked something: authenticity. Yes, the prevalence of Photoshop tutorials have made it easier than ever to take any image from a cheap digicam and turn it into a convincing fake. But while they may look interesting, they’re still no match for real images from a tilt-shift lens.

So for this article, we scoured the Web to find examples of 100% authentic tilt-shift photos. It’s cool knowing that the tilt-shift effect came just from a lens and a sensor - not Photoshop wizardry.

And, as you may notice, Cheapshooter is back from a (long) hiatus with a new design, some fresh writers and a ton of ideas. If you like what you see, add our RSS feed. We’ll keep you update with fresh photography deals, news and tips all year long.
