No, I’m not there (if only), but one of my favorite photographers (and fellow Northwestern alum) Vincent Laforet is in Beijing, covering the Olympics for Newsweek. You might remember Laforet from our article on tilt-shift photography, but he’s actually an accomplished sports shooter as well. He’s giving some helpful tips and hints, but mostly he’s showing off his cool photographs. It’s a great source of inspiration, especially as we’re going to be talking more about sports photography this week on Cheapshooter.

This photo of his was already featured as Newsweek’s photo of the day from August 9.
